Canopies "POLBUD" are made of the finest materials.
Construction is of powder coated aluminium. Owing to this method, the product is very well protected against corrosion and its surface gains an effective appearance – Resulting in a uniform covering by the colour. Canopies are available it three standard colours: white (RAL 9016), brown (RAL8017), silver (only for the "Modern" line).
By using aluminium we have created a very strong and very light construction.
Covering
of
the
canopies
is
by
either
double-wall
polycarbonate
plate
for
the
'Classic'
line
or
acrylic
PMMA
sheets
in
the
case
of
the
'modern'
line.
Polycarbonate is a light material that has a very good impact strength, high transmittance and UV resistance.
Acrylic PMMA (plexiglas) is an amorphous, thermoplastic material, with very good optical properties (i.e. as transparent as glass and it allowing 92% of the sunlight to pass!). PMMA is hard, stiff, and reasonable strong. It has exceptional outdoor performance due to its weathering and light resistance, without reduction in either the optical or mechanical properties. By using transparent acrylic sheets, canopies from "modern" line don't interrupt the architectural concepts of a building’s elevation.
All canopies are supplied with a rubber joint, which protects against water trickling from the wall to the underside of the canopy
Products of "POLBUD" are sold as a kit for individual assembly. All the necessary elements for assembly (screws, washers) are included.
